This symposium brings together scholars to address environmental issues in a global and collaborative cross-disciplinary framework that highlights the humanistic dimension of environmental study. Speakers will share their research projects, meet with local and regional clusters of scholars in the environmental humanities, develop agendas for collaborative publishing projects, and plan future workshops and/or conferences that highlight humanistic environmental scholarship.
